Hey everyone, I have a couple questions. The AC in my KZJ78 is blowing cold but weak. I was wondering what part you recommend replacing and if you knew where to get it from. Also, my AC compressor is making a squealing noise when I have the AC on and when I press the gas pedal. Also the AC switch settings one and two aren’t working. Anyone know where I can get these parts? Thank you

No sure on the blower motor (which sounds like the 'weak' problem) but the squeel is something I've battled lately. First thing try to tighten up the belt - loosen 14mm? nur on tensioner pulley and then re-tension with 14mm? extended socket. Easy peasy, and for a few mins generally solves problem until that v-belt stretches again.

My v-belt just broke and have an OEM on the wat, but in mean time found one that worked at O'Reilly's. Pic attached. 13mm x 1195mm - a bit small so tensioner pulley sits lower but works fine and attached once, holding strong.

Thank You for the reply! So it only squeals when the ac is on and I hit the gas. When the AC is off the belt is still moving but doesn’t make the noise. I was thinking maybe it’s the AC clutch? Or do you think it still can possibly be the belt?

Yep, see the pic I attached and ask for same size. I had to take tensioner pulley off to get it around the clutch pulley.

Am I able to get this from an autozone or similar?
Usually belts can be physically matched by width and length.
It helps if the parts store person has compared belts before.

You should add your vehicle year and model to your profile to help others help you.

There is a product which I don't like but a friend of mine does.
I used it once to determine if a belt slipping was the source of noise.
