Love the new look! It's a bit reshreshing to see something other than TRD wheels...even though they look great. I think I've seen pictures of you in the snow before. I'm interested in see how these tires perform as most of the jeep guys dump them for wet/snowy weather.
most of what I do to my truck is all for performance reasons, but going with a 9 inch wheel just all came down to looks for the most part(was nice to pull it away from the UCA and lower control arm), I love the tires out past the fender a notch... Basically set out to build the newer version of my old 80 series Cruiser from my younger years! View attachment 1142529
I too am chasing the look of my 80 series from days long gone. I see that there are 2 offset versions of that wheel in the 18x9 with 5x150 bolt pattern, one that is +20 and one that is simply 1. Which did you choose there to make them stick out like that?

we do some snow runs during the winter to get our Christmas tree, hotsprings etc.. I'm sure these tires will not do as well in the snow/ice as my Duratracs, already talking to the wife about getting another set of shoes at some point for winter, proly BFG all terrains...
great job hey can you possibly try to duplicate that pic of the 80 with the 200; meaning to see the tires sticking out etc. also is it just the standard fuel wheel 18x9? or is there a particular part number that fits the toyota.
I love the looks of those wheels with your first tire mod! I was looking at the Fuel Offroad website to try and price out a set of 5 for the Lexus. I am curious if you have the part number for the wheels, given that they have a good size selection. I personally like the tires to squeeze inside the fenders, as I have bent a fender before with overly wide tires (extended out about 1 inch). The 275 70/18s are what I am thinking of putting on the 570 next year.
figured I would update my build thread with the couple small things I've done to the rig in the last couple months... I added the front Toyota spacers...
the reason your rig is so flexible is because you used the flexidip on your wheels - IF you had used plastidip I highly doubt you would have made it through half the stuff you try.
