At this point, I'm a definite.
I'm open to RC or Anthracite. Any preferences?

I've never been to Anthracite, then again haven't been to RC in 7 years or so.. I'd like to make it, I'll know Saturday morning..

Right now I won't be making it this Saturday will be in Virginia with my wife and daughter. Those plans might change, if so I'll be there. I think we need another scouting run or two at Anthracite before Coal Mine.
And Don, tell us about your recent trip out west! Yes I heard a little about it...........

I've never been to Anthracite either. I'm 50/50 for Saturday. Wife is going to a wedding on Friday night and we have a baptism on Sunday morning. I'll let you guys know later this week.

I'm out. Heading to Portland with some friends next weekend.

We are taking the camper up to Bald Eagle on Memorial Day weekend if anyone wants to join. I'm hoping to make it to CMCC for at least a night or two.

Ah, yes, well, you guys just got back from Moab, and of all the places we camped, hiked, wheeled & backpacked, the Moab region, is still our favorite for all of the above, then again, we haven't done much of any wheeling in the San Juans. We started in Big Bend and camped at Elephant Tusk for 3 nights. 4wd accessed only, then onward to Moab, 3 nights BLM campsite, 3 nights at Horsehoof campsite, then south to the Painted Desert and backpacked into the Petrified NP,, then on to Gila NF, and the Gila NM cliff dwelling, then across to Tucson and the Saguaro NP, the cactus were cool, but southern AZ caters to the RV crowd. headed north to "Run the Rim", forest road 300 on the Mongollon rim, but it was snowed shut.. Ended our trip in the Grand Staircase NM boondocked there for 3 nights, then took back roads east thru the rest of Utah, Colorado and Kansas. didn't get on the interstate system until Kansas City.. Overall a great 5 week trip and we are already planning two more trips for next year. One lesson learned, damn, that high desert can get really cold. We have 15 degree bags and the first night outside the Needles at the BLM site we were cold. We learned the next day that the temps had dropped into the low teens.. After 3 nights of that, we headed into Moab for gas, food, supplies and a tent heater!! All in all we spent about 20 days of the 35 camping either in our large tent, or in our small two man tent..

Let's hit RC, it's a half hour closer for me.
Anyone else confirmed besides @VBRoamer ?

I'd come, but my wife is working and I need to watch the kiddos. I don't think I can take all 3 ;-P

They can ride in the bed of the Taco! :hillbilly:

I'm a no-go fellas. Too much yard work to catch up on :(:(:(.

Things are looking better for me, but the weather may not be cooperating...:crybaby:

Is 'interesting' a euphemism for muddier?
