This is about 2005 LX470.

- The key fob locks and unlocks all doors EXCEP the Driver's door
- When manually insert the key into the door lock it locks and unlocks all doors properly (including the driver door)
- When i hop inside, close the door and use the button on the door to lock/unlock, it works fine to lock/unlock all doors including the Driver door.

So my problem is that the remote key fob is unable to lock/unlock JUST the driver door... all others lock/unlock properly.

Need to identify the root cause. TIA!

CORRECTION: the button on the door DOES NOT lock or unlock the driver door… exactly like the Key fob does not lock/unlock the driver door.

So ONLY the physical key when inserted into the door lock can lock/unlock all doors including the driver door.

Bought a 2006 LX 470 Yesterday. I am having the same issue. Let me know if you are able to resolve or find a thread on how to fix. I just started researching how to fix today so I will keep you updated as well.

I found a thread about the "Door lock Actuator Replacement" below, but not the Motor replacement. Haven't read through this thread yet perhaps it includes motor replacement also.

Looking for the link to the door lock electric motor replacement... if anyone has it kindly post here.

Just read the first page... what an amazing thread! Thank you Trunk Monkey for pointing it out!

Now I need to find a good thread about about how to remove the door trim

Got the same issue since I bought the car, that's 12 years now.
I have the motors, but never done the swap.

Not extremely uncommon. Every 6 months or so my front passenger's door lock does the same. It usually sorts itself in a day or two. Almost like it doesn't like weather changes.
Mine only does it when it’s hot out and has been parked in the sun. I park in the garage, but We’re about to see if it bothers me enough this summer to fix it.

mine does the same thing but only when its really hot outside for my tail gate and back passenger door, on a cool day all the doors unlock/lock with the fob. I think my locks get sticky or maybe the motors get sticky, something is sticky lol
