Just purchased a 1984 BJ42 Toronto

Hello all! I am new to this site and hope it will be the compass I need to get me in the right direction in maintaining my new or not so new as it were Cruiser. I am in the Toronto Hamilton area of Ontario Canada and I am looking to connect with a decent shop in the area to do some work as well as a line for a local place for after market as well as new and used parts. As for the paint job I am always curious about that as well...I did peek under her however and tapped around the frame as well and it seems solid. The fellow fixed it up for himself and then found a project on a plane that he wanted to do and needed the cash. So he works on planes as well which hopefully is a good sign as to his workmanship. It looked and sounded pretty solid with definite higher gauge steel put in places that were rusted.

can i still see a pic of the side vent cover up close. side vent a Canadian thing only eh!

Hey there, the vehicle that I just purchased is missing one of the rear jump seats. I have not been able to find one yet.

Seems I have been bitten by the cruiser bug. Already ordered a ton of parts to bring her up a few notches and more detailed and as close to OEM lol

If anyone has a line on a seat let me know... gray btw
