Couldn't be happier. Period. Installed front and rear 2.5 '' coil overs with adjustable reservoirs. Shocks are 700lbs because of armoring. I raised the front to match the rear and that was the only spec. Ride is super smooth and it turns very well. I'm very happy with the install. I know I went a little over board with reservoirs but I liked the adjustment option. Next mod next week is the 2012 projectors with LEDs.

looks really good, how much more does your rig weight with the armor on it?

A little over 3200kgs. Something around 7000lbs. My wife's "new" one is going to be around 3800 kgs, just under 4 tons. (security in my country is going down the drain)

Only 7k?? Lightweight! :p

You should see my gas mileage

36.4 gallons lasts me 5 days or approximately 400 kms. Comes out to around 7mpg average.

JC....I have to be honest with you...you have to have an issue with your LC if you are getting only 7mpg.

I would guess I have the heaviest or one of the top 3 heaviest LC 200 series on these forums...and I get 9-11mpg in the city.

I am pushing upwards of 7800-8000 lbs with 33" tires, steel bumpers front and rear, roof rack, and an ADDITIONAL 350-450 lbs with the extra fuel tank and fuel.....

If you are getting only 7mpg, you have some problem there.

You need to really track it specifically.....if not, I would get it checked out.

Wait a sec..... 36.4 gallons?!?!?! The LC only has a 20.1 gallon tank.....something is wrong here....

Nope. My version is stock. Some countries get a 93 liter plus 45 liter sub tank. I have a feeling they made them for the middle east where gas is a dime a gallon. Here $6.40 a gallon really hurts the wallet. I easily average out $1,000 in fuel each month. And now that my wife is getting the heftier version multiply that by 2. :censor::crybaby:

Ok that explains that...but what about the mpg....

Something is wrong there or something is not being explained.

Are you running Gas or Diesel?

I live below sea level, so no benefits from being at a high altitude or anything. I also live in the WORST state with the WORST regulations on emissions and fuel....I get better mpg outside the state with looser regulations.

Anyway...there has to be something I am not seeing here.

That's an approximate. I don't drive the thing. My city is stop and go traffic and I spend my time either full throttle or full brake. (pad change every 7,000 miles) apparently I've heard that's one of the best ways to tell if your being followed and avoid ambushes. Idk I've gotten used to it. Stopped drinking coffee in the morning commute because it was impossible.

Yes Middle Eastern ver perhaps, as we all have 93+45L=>138L=>36.4US Gallon. Swap 45L sub tank with ARB 180L, and you get total 273L=> so 72.1US Gallons. Obviously the type of armor grade, increases your vehicle weight. 7mpg sounds low to me also, it's a 5.7L, V8 ?

Lowest I have ever gotten was about 8-8.5 mpg.

I've never measured the gas mileage, but when I fill it up and drive around town for 10 minutes the range says 450kms. I'll see if I reset the odometer next fill up to get a better average. I do know that I fill up a lot and drive very little.

Just filled her up. 31.5 gallons. The trip computer says I have 465kms, and average fuel consumption since last start 30 l/100kms

Ok I am going to act stupid here...that means nothing to me...I deal in mpg and miles....not kilo's.

lol

1.6 kms to a mile. 30 liters for every 100 kms is around 7.8mpg

Ok take this as you want. I have had my lc from the end of 2007 and have done more stuff then you will probably think about doing to yours. Carry more armor and fuel then you ever could..... And put on 25k miles per year, both city and highway.... And I have never gotten lower then 8.5-9.0 mpg.

There is something wrong with your LC Or the fuel going into it.

I would not do anything else to your lc until that is figured out. Just a waste of money IMHO.
