Just drove an LX600 F-sport

LX600 impressions after one week and 500 miles:

Cons:
-electronic interface is a little odd initially, not as intuitive as my previous lexus products. The past ones were all "hop in, we've taken care of everything" simple. This one has taken some time to tease out things like getting my iPhone to pair consistently, having to note that a "key" is linked to my "profile" (otherwise get a "guest" profile loaded and lots of re-do Bluetoothing and streaming services), etc.
-and that's it. No other cons.

Pros:
-styling. The grill is a love it our hate it piece, and I like it just fine.
-ride. The non-AHC suspension is the perfect blend of comfort and control. The AHC on the f-sport I drove felt alternately lumbery and flinty. This one takes rolls and bumps with aplomb (one big hill with railroad tracks that most people crawl over at 10-20mph can be taken at 50+ with barely a jostle).
-noise. It makes my wife's 2019 gx460 sound like a Jeep Wrangler. It is sooooo quiet inside, typical lexus but way better than previous models, including the lx570.
-engine/transmission. 9/10. Almost always seems to be in the right gear, downshifts aren't Porsche fast, but excellent for what's needed here. It's fast for what it is. I'm a health care provider, and it goes faster than I need it to when rushing to the hospital.
-seat comfort is the best I've ever experienced (and my dad runs a dealership, I've driven everything...)
-space: 2nd row is also roomy and comfortable. Happy passengers.
-lack of a tailgate. I do miss the nostalgia of the fold down rear tailgate, but the way the bumper is constructed, you can still sit on the back with the rear hatch open.

Will be back for updates periodically.

Can you expand on “key” attached to your profile? Is it the car remote or something else?

Three key fobs came with the vehicle, two typical keyless entry and run pieces (with buttons for lock and unlock, trunk, etc.) and one credit card sized one that unlocks the doors when you touch them.

Each one of those can be programmed to a different person/profile. You get your music preferences, climate, (seating position? Haven't tried that yet) to come along with that key, and that will transfer across other lexus products that have the same system.

More pictures man!

Does the basic suspension LX600 have traditional sway bars or did it get the E-KDSS from the LC?

Congrats on the new rig. How’s the 3rd row space, legroom wise?

After checking out an F-sport with the third row, I'm quite happy in a base model without it. It was less comfortable with less room than in the 3rd row on my wife's 2019 gx470.

And...here's some photos.

Regarding the rear tailgate, the way it is constructed, the rear hatch is flush with the rear bumper. When you open the hatch, a little ledge that is more than enough to sit on presents itself. It's not the beloved small tailgate, but it works.

I will once our truck is built and confirm fitment.

I love those 20” wheels. Will be high demand for those since the only OE to put a larger tire on.

275/60/20 should clear UCA as long as not a crazy sidewall lugs.

As a future LX 600 owner one day living in Collierville, hope to see you around DocYota. If you work on your own stuff I turn my own wrenches too, so I'm ready to help install your lift :)
