Please do post up pics of yours as you carry out the mods.

Goodluck!

Whats the rear bumper on your brothers LC79 ? What wheels would you recommend me to get, should I paint my stock wheels black ?

The bumper is from this company.

As for the wheels, if your planning to go 285s, you could stick with the factory alloys, or you could try to find a used set that belongs to the 105 series. (check out Clint79s post). The thread below has all kinds of rims on display.

No one said this was easy;)

Thank you, Which part of Saudi are you from ? We originate to Saudi aka "Najd" before being Kuwaiti's. I belong to Al-Enezi tribe and my family used to live in Al-Zelfi 400 years ago prior to arriving to Kuwait.

As an update.

I just negotiated with the garage and they told me it's going to take 7 working days to install ARB Bumper, IPF Fogs, Snorkel,Fog lights on Bumper, OME Shocks (Nitrogen)(5) and Coils.

The Winch is out of stock, it will arrive in October(undecided) if I want to install or not.

So I've got a long list of tasks ahead of me.

Solar Guard Ceramic Tint and 3M Clearbra on Monday (Drop it off morning get it at 6pm)
Kleinn HK2 Air horn install on Tuesday (Half day of work) and on Thursday night install BFG 285/75/16.

Then next Saturday God Willing will take it to ARB to install the items I just purchased. I am putting it at a later date so I have nearly a weeks usage of the car and enjoy it before it sits 7days for ARB Makeover.

7 days? I don't know about putting on a snorkel, but it seems like a very leisurely pace for that amount of labor. That's not 4-7 hrs. a day, is it? Of course, we will look forward to more photos. Stick with the stock wheels, as is.

Stock wheels yes and regarding the install they have a full garage of cars to fix so thats why they squeezed me in but it will take 7 days.

Let the modifications begin, just picked it up.

Driving the car is an event, it is so fun to drive because its a manual and it has quiet a high revving motor.

iPhone pic as of now, it's quiet dark outside but more pictures soon to follow tomorrow in day light.

Rear view,

I'll remove the red white strip between the tail lights asap. I hate how it looks, like a unibrow.

Quick question: Where do you buy your BFG's from? Do you have a local supplier in the GCC?

Cant wait to see how your truck turns out.

Yes All Kuwaiti's are originally from Saudi Arabia. I am speaking about the original Kuwaiti's (natives) not the ones that descent from Persia or Iraq(both minority).

The dealer of BFG is Michelin, type Michelin Kuwait in google and you will get the contact details for them.

Thanks guys the car is an event to drive, a very fun experience. I know it's only a Pickup but I am overly excited.

Nice truck, buddy!

Just want to ask, why didn't your side mirror come with the indicator light? I saw some 79 equipped with and without.:hhmm::hhmm:

I havent seen one locally with the side mirrors, though I like it without them its cleaner.

Day 2 some new and very subtle modifications.

Installed a Biege bedliner.

Removed the decals in arabic writing for the payload on the door edges and rear tailgate.

Removed the Red/white strip between the two tail lights(reflective).

Yes I understood what you mean, I think the one sans indicator light is better looking.
