5% import price for items that exceed $10,000.

The price I listed is out of the door price, insurance (not full coverage) and registration. The price of the car is a bit on the high side, 6-7 years back they were around the $25,000-26,000 border.

Still is super cheap for 5%.:)
Malaysian government tax about 200 - 300% depends on the car category.:bang:
I bought my HZJ79 from Toyota 12 years ago with a price tag of US35k.

I'll be getting the car tomorrow, as soon as I get it I'll install 285/75 BFG All Terrain's then drop it off for 3m tint.

I already purchased OME lift, I'll install it as soon as the ARB bumper arrives then its off for a snorkel installl ARB Bumper, 3 1/2 tonne Warn winch, IPF fogs and the integrated lights for the bumper.

These will be installed within this month.

Stage 2.

ARB side steps, Roof Rack with the LED light bar from Rigid Industries.

Will do, words cant describe how SLOW these 2 weeks have been. I cannot wait, I'm pissed that i've got to go back and forth wait couple of days to get things instaleld.

At work, my mind is stuck with the thought of to do list items I've got to do. I paid the amount by Sat, gave them my Civil ID and today supposedly the plates should come out for registration. What's pissing me off is that the PDI is so slow at Toyota.

:bounce:

Are these springs suitable, its out of a 2008 LC79 equipped with OLD MAN and my friend(owner) told me one of the shocks is leaking.

But I am suspicious of their state? Do you think they seem to be okay ? If I go by his words I just need the 2 coil springs, steering shock damper and 1 shock absorber. ?

Congrats for the new "Abu Shanab"

If you're modifying the suspension to carry the weight of the ARB bull bar then my advise would be don't bother because your vehicle is made to carry heavy loads. You have a 7-leaf spring pack!

So i just install my new ARB bumper without the coils and shocks and just add larger tyres ?

I don't know about cruisers but my brother installed an arb bullbar on his hilux and the front sagged about an inch and a half with aftermarket heavy duty coilovers and unless your leaving the bull bar on the tray a 7 leaf, leaf pack won't help the front coils

I have BFgoodrich 285/75r16 on my LC71 with no problems to mention except a very little tire touch to the front bumper and thats because its the original bumper. In your case, you're talking about ARB bumper which is much elivated then the original bumper.

The tire-bumper touching happens only when vehicle is exteremly turning in an unleveled ground.

Yeah, and I'm really pleased with BFgoodrich tires. At first, I wanted the BFgoodrich 275/70r16 but coudn't find them anywhere around.

They are available here but I like the look of the 285's. I still haven't received my car they have a long list of cars to deliver pre PDI. I was told I would get it on Sunday.

Oh, and this is a much older pic, where I tried the 255/85/16 skinnies look. I really liked it, but ultimatley I ended up using these tires on my troopy, and settled for a 285 tire on the 76 wagon as it provides much better traction on the dunes.

If we didnt have dunes around here, I'd use the 255s all day long!

I just bought a Train horn with compressor. I'll install it this week with a clear bra for the front end protection, lights, fogs, windshield pillars, wheel arches and the thin strip on the sides of the door.

Does anyone know where I can find a rack to install LED BAR.

Inshallah (God Willing) I get my LC79 aka "Abu Shanab" "Sha9" as its called in the GCC by Sunday night. It's the beige colour with the side stickers such as the picture I posted without the oem Winch and no LEDS on the bumper. Sunday install BFG 285/75's. Monday in for tints from Solar Guard and clear bra.

Then it's going to be dropped at ARB for winch, snorkel, ome lift, IPF fogs. I'll place an order for the roof rack and the ARB side steps.

I want to get a Head unit because the stock radio sucks and doesnt support AUX for iPod.
