I added some +1" Tri Shackles from JT Outfitters and love them. They are the non-greasers for $20 a piece. The material and build quality is excellent for the money and the customer service is excellent as well. The finishing touch to the AAL and shock hoop/ Ranch-Ho setup. I think I am going to hit Hogans this weekend in Disney OK. Hopfully I'll get some good pics.

Lookin' good. One question however, why is the anti-inversion pin in the center of the shackle? Isn't it supposed to be biased towards the top side?

Apparantly JT makes them in a triangle configuration, which I like. It ensures that the shackle movement will not be limited by the the "anti" pin. I am not really concerned with inverting anyway, I mainly went with a tri for the added strength when a full articulation.

Can't wait to hear how they perform (and pics ofcourse) I may be following in your footsteps for my upcoming lift.

Post some pics of your shock hoops

Thanks

May I ask, are these shackles total legnth 4 inch long?

I have an extra set of those shackles, all 4 of them measure 4 inches center to center.

yea those are the first ones I have seen without a bias, that seem to be an equalateral triangle, i guess that would just allow the spring to invert more until the "pin" hits the frame and limits it.
