JP & Troll's Rainbow Adventure Trip

The RAT for short.

Somehow I've talked JP into driving the 1100 miles to Red Wing , MN to hang out with Steve (aka Poser) and a bunch of other guys for 4 days of wheeling, eating meat and drinking on 500-1000 acres of private land full of trails. Wile most would think the 4 days of wheeling would be enough for us that will be only half of it. The task of getting up there and back in JP's 45 pickup will be the other half. We plan on taking a lot of backroads to get there as his 45 is limited to 55-60 mph. Plus I'd like to see what that part of the country has to offer as far as roadside attractions. So we have got to start planning early if we want this all to work out.

The date we are supposed to be in the Red Wing area is June 20th thru the 24th. That means we need at least 2 if not 3 days each way to get there and back. So we will either leave on the 16th or 17th and plan to be back home no later than the 26th.

We should start taking odds on how far we get before, we break down, lose a wheel, or roll it........ Winner get to come rescue us

Someone should let you borrow their SPOT GPS so we can track your progress. Plus they have a SOS button on them. Sounds like a cool idea though!

I have to say that if I had to take a long road trip in an old a$$ vehicle, I would want Marshall and JP with me to fix any breakdowns. Heck, between Marshall whipping out a carb from his back pocket and JP using a flip flop to seal an exhaust leak, what can go wrong?!?

I'm sure I'll be doing my share of driving on this trip. JP wanted to take the 45. Pretty sure he's looking to get as much adventure as you can get in a week long trip. Pretty sure we will need a 5 gallon bucket of oil just to make it there.

Screw Red Wing Shoes. They sold out to the comi bastards and still try to label them American Made because someone sews a few pieces together. Not the quality they used to be. Stop in Chippewa Falls, WI if you want some real boots.

I couldn't find any strip clubs with that link you need to change your criteria

I don't know if I would trust that site. They list Medieval Times and Putt-Putt as the odd claim to fame for Myrtle Beach when we all know it's the street hookers from 3rd Ave. North to 3rd Ave. South and strip clubs.

If you are taking nothing but backroads then you probably want to avoid the strip clubs, unless you go through Beckley, WV then you definitely want to hit up Southern Exposure which is on a sideroad.
