The package says 130w on it. The bulb says 65w. They are bright, I have no idea on the heat. Some guys on the 100 series yahoo board from australia have been running these ipf 130 hir's for two years with no issues.
They were a bitch to find, had to get the phone # from the ARBUSA through email. I can not find the number, the place is ok auto in new jersey. I could not find them listed on any website.

Sounds like some sort of headlight speakeasy. Was there a secret knock or password? They ship them out to you in coffee grounds?
I've personally always had this dream of having headlights so bright that insects burst into flames when they fly through the beam. 8)
I found the site, even thou they do not have the bulbs listed. This is where I ordered them from. I told him I was told $110 by ARBUSA and he said he could sell them for that, like the is another price or something.

I'm going to call bull**** on the 130 watt. This sounds like the same crap as where PIAA takes a 65 watt bulb, plays with the filmant so they can measure a higher lux output because the light is concentrated over smaller area and then call them "100 watt bulbs". The bottom line is that incadecent bulbs are all about the same efficiency and put out the same light output for the same wattage. It is not until you go up to things like HID lamps (i.e. mercury vapor, metal halide) which are about 5 times more efficient that you can get a "free lunch" where you are getting a 35 watt bulb with the equivilant of 150watt incadecent output.
Frankly, If I was going to spend $110 on a pair of bulbs and another $40 for a harness, I would save up and get a true HID conversion (hids4less) for the $400 or so they run now. No need for an upgrade harness, expensive, but true high output.

Why waste the money on the John Deere's when you can get Hella 80 & 100 watt bulbs for $10 each? ???

Where can you find Hella's for this price? The only bulbs I've found this cheap are just that.

Nice link - thanks. I ordered 6 pairs of bulbs from them and was amazed at their pricing. Spent what I was considering for the John Deere's and got all new bulbs for both vehicles. Now I'll be looking for Wart's NAPA connectors and will beef things up a bit to see if I get substantial improvement with a relay and heavy wire.

www.ok4wd.com is our local 4x4 shop here in NJ. Ask for pantywearing Chuck when you call. He's a good dude with a couplo cruisers including one sick 40.
So what's the final analysis on lights? Good? Cheap? Worth it? B? Cdan? Christo? Rogue? Others?
Email Daniel with your vehicle info and he'll send 'em. Do searches here on HIR and you'll find there are literally dozens of us with the good version of these (who makes IPF's?) and they're working out very well.

Hmm. Do a search on "Group buy" and "HIR" and that should cover it. I believe the "good" ones are made by Toshiba. Someone or several got one of each mfr and compared them.
