I thought I saw this rig here in North Carolina but it was just a regular 95. Hard to tell the difference

well no, because...

*brings mike closer*

when Icon builds a FJ80 they replace or refurbish EVERYTHING. It takes YEARS. Its a completely different vehicle when they're done. I was reading this article about how DMT can actually advance your thinking and make it easier for you to accomplish tasks like this because your pineal gland...jamie, can you get that article up...no, the other one. Yeah, the pineal gland actually makes your cells rejuvenate faster...here we go. Is it even an FJ80 when you're done, or is it a different car? Its entirely possible that its a COMPLETELY different car.

*looks over at screen*

look at that...yeah, that chimp must be what? 400 pounds? Jesus, those things will tear you to shreds.

One thing I was wondering is does anyone know if Joe Rogan has upgraded skid plates for his gas tank? I wish we could find out

Amazing this thread is still here.

I did listen to the Jonathan Ward episode on the Joe Rogan podcast recently. It was a good episode, and I don't really listen to the show (Joe Rogan talking to people about stuff he doesn't know anything about can be pretty painful. I also don't care for the "new-age guru of masculinity" schtick). I guess Joe had an LX570, at least when the episode came out. So he's on his 2nd Land Cruiser which is cool.

They spent a while talking why Ward wants to bring passion and longevity back to cars. I appreciate that. Ward said that nowadays cars (even LCs) aren't built to last, since any random electronic doohickey (touchscreen, his example) will be extremely expensive/impossible to replace if it fails after a certain age. But his cars are built to last forever, according to him. So what do you do when you have a $150k+ TLC/ICON build that probably has dozens/hundreds of bespoke low volume parts that by nature can't be extensively tested, easily replaced, or serviced.

Move this mind numbing thread to chat already!

I heard Joe Rogan’s D light is the brightest ever on an 80.

I dunno, electronics are more durable than mechanical thingies
