Well I haven't made any more progress on the suspension. Took off the running boards this morning. Also added some little interior mods for my pal Luna. This evening when my xenon depot hid kit comes, that will also be installed. You can finally see that the spacers have been installed now that the running boards are off. Tires got pushed out a few weeks with my holdup on the suspension. Got quoted 300 dollars on getting the coil overs swapped by the shop I use in New Orleans yesterday, think I'm going to pass on that one. Got it up on the jack stands again last night and I don't know if I trust myself trying to sawzall off that top bracket.

What bracket are you trying to cut off?

The hex head bolts that hold the actuator bracket above the top hat on both of my stock front coil overs are seized up and or stripped out

eww

Why dont you come by my shop sometime and maybe we can help you out.

Well last night I got the xenon depot 4300k volt kit installed. I couldn't get a good before and after picture but with driving around a little last night they are great. Much more projection than the stock headlights, but don't look cheesy like some hid lights do. Very pleased with those so far

We could get some weed when we do the colorado trip!! Awesome!!!

I really wanted a white GX but couldn't find one. Looks great. Don't let that suspension work you over just break it. Half that crap is probably worn out anyways.

had a terrible week last week in regards to my GX. week before christmas when I was driving home to new orleans I noticed that my truck would not go over approximately 65mph on the interstate. Bring it into the lexus dealership in new orleans, they run diagnostics on the engine and everything. turns out I had a bad Air Injector pump. Went had that changed. When I went to pick it up they also told me that I have pinholes in both of my rear airbags which explains why the rear end is sagging really low every morning when I get into it. Looks like new tires are on hold for a little bit while I get the funds together to buy a rear coil conversion, rear coils, and a set of new shocks for the rear suspension. Any recommendations on a rear coil swap kit. Does SSS sell one, or is metaltech the only one worth looking at. Also what rear coils and shocks would you all suggest?

SSS sells complete suspension kits in various stages depending on budget and want. I went with the stage 3 kit. Cheapest suspension set-up but comes with total chaos UCAs. Their kits also come with the spring conversion kit but I don't think they sell it individually on the site at least. Here's a link: Radflo/Total Chaos Suspension Package - Suspension - Products

@jleith2 ... SSS offers the metal tech kit with whatever suspension kit you desire. .. the spring kit itself isn't any cheaper from SSS but is just offered for convenience bc you have to have one to convert to rear springs ...
IN short Sss is a one stop shop for suspension upgrades for a gx ... and offering some of the best prices you'll find ...
If you read through the different "stage kits" they will describe what each one offers and the benefits they provide within your budget

Ended up ordering a radflo kit front and back SSO a few weeks back after i noticed my rear airbags started going out. Should be going in this coming weekend. If anyone on here has an interest in a NIB set of OME 2885s or NIB Bilstein 5100s I have them posted in the classified section, but would make a good deal for someone. Below is the link to the classified post:

For Sale: - NIB OME 2885/ Bilstein 5100

Have not been back on here in a few weeks. Got my radflo kit installed a few weeks back. Thanks a lot to @123ROBERTELEE and @SouthernSS for doing the install. Had a crazy last few weeks at work, so have not gotten around to bringing my truck in to get my tires done yet. Very happy with the kit so far, slightly firmer than stock, but feels more stable.
