Here are a few more pictures of my truck...I really miss that truck! :crybaby:

You might try Jason over at JK Customs - he has made this bumper for several people, so he might even have one all ready to go?

I'll take one for the front and one for the rear Mark. Thanks! By the way what's that plug? Is it detachable power/plug for jumper cabling?

I like the way the lights are mounted downwards.

I like that style of bumper...nice

I really miss my old truck! But I got a new one. :grinpimp: JK is still making those bumpers, but my latest one is from Jim over at SROR.

looks awesome!!

any idea how much it weighs? (suspension considerations- heavy vs. light/medium)

The bumper Jason made me was stout! I would put in in the 150+ range? It was heavy! I had OEM mediums with the 3.5 shackle on my first FJ62.

The SROR bumper is much lighter maybe a little over 100, His is closer to the weight of a ARB. I have Dakar light springs up front, with 3.0 inch shackles, and I need to add a leaf to make them mediums, and Iam going to put on the 3.5 inch shackles. Here is some info about the new bumper.

its nice it does seem to sit lower than others though

the JKC one, looking at others i guess it doesnt just seems to though, they all seem to sit low on 60s, i guess i just see it that way.

the SROR ends can be trimmed to tapper or can be narrowed towards the ends.
this will give you a couple more inches of approach in front of the tires.

;)

Or you could just cut the front crossmember out and slide the bumper in under the radiator. That'd work too :)

Modify the wings a little bit and you're golden.

The JKC and SROR bumpers are quite similar. Looks like the SROR bumper is better for the winch aspects, but I like the larger center plate look of the JKC one. Both are obviously Cruiser Porn Quality.

It appears that SROR's takes longer to fab.

If I may ask, what were the prices of each, just the bumper, not including powdercoating or accessories.

I can't remember what I paid Jason - I think It was well over $1K - I would just e-mail him for pricing on steel and his current pricing.

SROR was in line with a new ARB - I bought this one from Jim here on Ih8mud in the for sale section, I think it was $650+? I think he has a tread on this in the for sale section.

Then you have shipping, I had not shipping from Jason, he is local - but I had $100 from SROR.

These are custom bumpers, so I would e-mail both guys for current pricing.

I hope that helps. -Mark
