Hey Guys,
Long time no see! My brother and I tried to find the trail Jaws of Death this past weekend. We have the GPS cordinates, but had trouble actually getting there. A gate blocked us from two directions. Anyone of you ever been out there? It looks like a sweet, hardcore trail. Here's some pics that another group did:

(I think that is Sean in the blue 40)

If any of you know where we can get in, thought it would be cool to do a group run.

yep, that's me! i have the video of that trip too. :grinpimp:

with the gates locked you can't really get back there. when i went, one of the guys knew the property owner and he left the gate open for us. it was actually sceep in that forum link above, i believe.

it will be a month or so before i'm ready. i have to put gears in still to match my new tires. then trim the rocker panels the rest of the way(started not finished).

wow, looks neat. and hard: no way my wagon'd make it. I might be up for taggin along as navigator/comms for somebody tho....

That's cool, my brother still needs to get new tires before he can go. Probably be at the end of the month at the earliest that we could go.

I was told that there are bypasses around most of the obsticles, so less modified rigs could go as well. Maybe Bionic Cruiser can confirm that?

to be honest, i probably wouldn't take ANY wagon in there. it's a very tough trail. long wheel base is good in some spots and very bad in a few others. my 40 WB of 96" is about right. i didn't need a strap at all. but did take 6 or 7 trys at a few obstacles. no/short rear overhang for exit angle is required.

that would be a negative. maybe one or 2 bypasses. the hardest ones do not have them.

these for sure do not have bypasses.

I'll take my wagon on that trail. Looks really fun. Looks like my kind of trail.

Ya, with your wagon you have nothing to loose. :flipoff2:

and the vote for best "innocent" way to triple post pix of one's rig goes to.... :p

can you see all 3? i only get the top 1" of the first 2. then again i do like seeing my rig.

yep: 1st 2 in one frame together, 2nd try in a frame by itself, 3rd attempt w/no frame.

It's a great shot, I don't mind the multiples. ;)
