Roger,
The sand quarry is where I initially tried to lead the group from the northern side when we encountered the closed trail signs/barriers. Glad to see you got access from the south. FYI - getting to the sand quarry is alot easier from the northern side for those interested. Hopefully it will open up at some point. We plan to explore the area soon. Thanks for letting us hang!
Newcomer Aaron with his FJC survived the trip with only scratches to the paint (hopefully). Good to meet you Aaron and hope you had fun. I was truly impressed what a stock FJC would do but some tires would have made a huge improvement. Welcome to the addiction!
. My favorite is where Aaron must be pulling Sean's Bronco up the trail, because what other explanation could there be based on the picture (pictures don't lie).
Great pics guys.
and gals ...
My navigator also normally handles the camera and she has eclectic taste in some of the pictures she takes. As a result, it is always a blast to down load the pictures and see what Melissa shot during the trip. These two met her 'eclectic' standard and had me smiling when I saw them.
she's not afraid to jump outta the truck and get a close up either! i was amazed how she would jump right in with all the wheelin' guy fun! have you started her cruiser yet?
