So far all the bolts on this rig have come out fairly easy. I can say with a fair amount of certainty that it hasn't been exposed to much moisture.
I haven't found much more of the wacky tabaccy to equal 10 plants, but I am getting closer.
I've been stripping the troopy down the last couple evenings, unfortunetly I have not found a bottle of wine yet....but, there's still hope.
Matt
Just got your PM - are you talking about the panel that's sitting in the green basket in the back of the Land Cruiser in the picture you attached? Is that different on the LHD / RHD trucks?
I'm goint to put the cart ahead of the horse here a bit, but I want to get the ball rolling on this sooner than later.

I would like to purchase the bolt in dash center portion and ash tray out of a FJ40 or 45 model, needs to be LHD. Preferably clean and straight.
I just pulled the one out of my troopy, pretty easy to get out. Hoping something they could run down to a salvage yard and pick up fairly easily?
Thanks in advance, Matt
Hey Buckroseau,
Wondering if you have any interest in selling just the actual ashtray part (the piece that pulls out) from the part you pulled out? My late 83 Troopy was missing its ashtray when I imported it, but I would love to fill the hole that is there in the dash. If not, I totally understand.
Thanks,
Abe
I believe mine was missing that as well.
