Hi,
It got quite warm in Sydney this afternoon.
I had to take my Son to work and I couldn’t keep the temperature gauge down.
Radiator was fully serviced and cleaned about 18 months ago.
12ht 61 series

I run top quality Nulon green coolant.
Please advise if It’s okay to continue.

These temps are ok to drive in. Landcruisers were designed for deserts and arctic conditions. 108c wouldnt keep me off the road and I would have the aircon on full bore as well.
 
I agree with Rosco.

If you have glycol in the coolant, and a functional radiator cap your were won't boil until around 120°c.

If it doesn't keep going up you should be right to keep driving.

Thanks for the advice from from both you and Rosco
No problems driving it, the temp seemed to hover just under 110 degC in traffic and drop down to about 100degC when moving.
Just unusual as it’s normally around 82degC occasionally getting to 90

If the system is pressurised it raises the boiling point and you don't get big steam bubbles around the cylinders.
Other things to take notice of is the oil pressure and is it dropping.
Is that the original engine that's done 500000+?
 
Hi I’ve just picked him up and temp back to normal
Still warm at 34 degC here now
Oil pressure has remained normal and not dropped or fallen
Motor is original with 500000 plus km
61 Is a Jap import so may have been wound back
