I am curious about this dash light on my cluster above the charge light

Google translate says it is "hot exhaust". Is this a factory EGT warning lamp? I'm curious on where I can get a sensor to trip this light. I'm in the process of getting everything working as factory on my truck again and since this was a gas to diesel conversion I don't actually have everything.

I have a similar light on my RZN185 Hilux Surf, though not with Japanese characters. There is an EGT probe in the catalytic converter to warn of overheating. I think all petrol JDM Toyotas got them through the 1980s and 90s.

Diesels of that era never had catalytic converters, so no use for the light any longer.
