^ So I have this engine that is my current 3B runner which has a rotary fuel pump and oil filter that you screw I'm from the top ways

The second and 3rd photo is the engine I'm not sure about. It's got an inline pump and and upside down oil filter (like most vehicles)

I was 100% on it being a 3B (which it is) just some guy on another thread said it was a 3bii.

That's a 1999 3B-II JDM engine:

All 3Biis have a rotary pump.

Some 3Bs have a rotary pump, some are inline.

The best way to difrerentiate them is by looking at the valve cover, or checking for pushrod inspection window covers.

Thanks for sharing these pictures. 1999 was AFAIK the last year of the 3B. Interesting to see the onboard power steering pump and that the engine has totally different brackets from the Land Cruiser 3BIIs. Is it your engine?

No, it isn't. In case of a B engine I would prefer to look for a 14B or a 4B, both (JDM imports) available with all ancillaries for 3,500-4,000 euros here in Greece.
