Is this rack worth $300?

Was hoping for some feed back if this rack is worth $300.00 was said to be off a 1970 FJ40.

I had emailed him several times and he was fast to respond, I am not needing one now. BUT one thing I never noticed was the metal bar running from tower to tower to tower. I'm sure weight distribution but you might want to see if its welded on there.

It looks like the tradesman that Kamar markets. The "bar" is actually a strap on end that distributes the wieght more evenly across the gutter. It's an excellent rack. They're about a grand if you'd rather buy a new one.
