Really? A '91's shifter will move itself between 3rd and D without driver intervention? Did I mistread this? Or are you asking if the tranny will shift between 3rd and 4th without driver intervention (as would any automatic tranny)?

Okay...I just re-read it and think I understand. He's talking about being able to move the shift between 3rd and D without having to press the button. Sometimes I have to read it a few times 'cuz I'm slow.

Hey...I said I was slow, didn't I? :flipoff2:

A 40 looks like a Heep (or is it the other way around?) :flipoff2: 1958-83

A 45 is either a 40 with a truckbed on the back or a funky wagon-thing, mid 60's

A 55 is an Iron Pig, flat paneled looking wagon-thing with about the same drivetrain as a 40. 69-79

A 60 is a more sculpted wagon 81-87

A 62 is a 60 with square headlamps and an EFI motor/auto trans. 88-90

80's are stud-muffins :D 91-97

Ahh, ok

Thanx for the rundown :)

I'm guessing the 100-series are the latest models....

Is that when they came out with the front IRS?

I was scoping out my uncle's 2000 LC while putting a new exhaust system on it and it looked so much different than my 91....

Mine looked much more like a heavy duty off-road setup compared to his.....

front IRS = IFS :)

The UZJ is a fancy beast, but still a beast.
