I'm curious if this is likely to be an original fuel pump. It's the one I pulled from my '94 with 254k miles. I can't tell what the stylized logo says.

I'm guessing the pump may have been changed at some point, since the bolt heads are pretty deformed:

I had to replace all (8) of mine because someone (likely related to your mechanic) insisted on using a Phillips screwdriver instead of a JIS+, or an 8-mm socket.

I wish mine was that clean, before I removed everything.

Yeah, I don't know what the story is with those screws. I don't know the vehicle's history before March of this year. The pump seems to be likely an original, yet the screw heads are pretty marred up. Plus, one of them is a standard bolt head, no JIS cross-head on it. Weird.

Oh, and it was completely coated in dust when I first opened it. That was after using the shop vac, a paint brush (to dislodge dirt), and lots of compressed air!

Yep. Glad my thread could help.

Well then, they did a terrible job on that logo. I actually looked at the Aisan company logo back when I pulled the pump and didn't think it was a match.

No.... it’s pretty much the same on their website and on all of the parts they have been manufacturing for the Land Cruiser for the past 60 years.

Their logo has not changed.

It's so much the same that several people on this website don't recognize it as the Aisin logo.

Wow, you've really become an unpleasant person.
It's Monday morning folks. Let's not pee in each others Cheerios.
I was not able to read the logo on your fuel pump and would have just assumed it was "Arram" as described on the other thread. However as soon as I saw the Aisan logo on the website I knew it was a match.
