Is this an early 40 heater? (1 Viewer)

Got this in a lot of 40 parts. The clamps appear to be Toyota but I dont recognize the heater istelf. Appears to bolt on firewall and have a simple hand lever. Ducting comes in from the top for blower.

I believe it's a later model heater with the top and bottom cut off of it.

The top of the housing is removable, I don't know why someone would cut it off. You need the upper part to force air thru the core.

The top parts not cut off it’s just been removed it screws on with the same screws that are holding the bracket to hold the heater core in place.
