He says it's a 1979 model, comes with a hawse fairlead, remote, and it's loaded with 5/16" aircraft cable. He said it worked when he took it off his Bronco. He wants $450.

What do you think?

If you can get the serial number, Poser has a way of telling approximately the year it was built. I checked my serial #s on the warn website but it did not tell me the year range.

If it works and you feel it is a good value. Go for it! Shipping will kill the deal. Those thing weigh quite a bit.

It's local, that's why I'm even interested. I'll try to get the serial number.

Yea, 450 is a very good deal! If you back out ,I will give 450 and have it shipped to E. Tenn!

$450.00 and the ability to pick it up locally (no shipping cost) would seal the deal for me.

The same winch (in good working order with remote) will fetch 450 on the low end and 600 on the high end on ebay.

I wouldn't let it get away, if it were me.

Just make sure it works properly. A pair of jumper cables will allow you to test it on the spot.

Serial number is 146329.

Go for it those winches are awesome. Saved my butt tons of times. The are heavy though and dont lose the remote becuase they are very expensive to track down and buy a new one.
