Is my FJ40 Glass / Plexiglass Original?

I have searched the web and come up empty. I'm familiar with late 70's early 80's OEM Toyota FJ40 glass. It says TOYOTA right on the glass. However, I have little experience with earlier trucks like late 50's up to early 70's. FJ25's, Factory Soft Tops, etc.

I would like to know if the windshield and plexiglass windows on this 1969 FJ40L Factory Soft Top are original. I'm guessing the windshield is OEM based on the stamp. I don't know about the plexiglass. I have nothing to compare.

If it's any consolation or of value...the 'Plexiglas' in the OEM soft doors I replaced for new/clear stuff was marked the same as what you pictured above.

Thank You! That is of value. The truck has super low miles so perhaps these ARE the original plexi windows.

The parts catalog I can see shows the same soft top part numbers from 3-69 up. Ours are 73,74,75.

I'd say THAT's definitely OEM. How about a shot of the windshield etching on the 73?

FYI - DOT glass manufacturer codes were "assigned" in 1968. Department of Transport safety code were mandated to be inscribed on window glass starting in mid 1973

Based on the telephone conversation we had regarding the location and characteristics of the marks on your 4 door glasses, I suspect you have a very good chance of having original pieces.

This is odd that the same little round symbol that appears on the windshield of the 69 FJ40 FST Also appears on the original Dunlop tires? Does anyone know what this symbol designates?
