Love the Lights. What kit did you get?

Thanks. I started with a 35w Morimoto Elite HID 9006 kit from TRS.

Then, @2000UZJ pointed out that the bulbs from that kit weren't going to work well. He was right. Lots of glare and not so much effective light. He hooked me up with more appropriate bulbs, H1 if I remember correctly. Those work far better, although HIDs in these housings aren't exactly street legal...better for off road use.

My installation method was a bit iffy (if that wasn't obvious from the pictures) so usually one or the other is partially filled with water. Fixing that is on my to do list. Thankfully it doesn't rain much in San Diego so I've been able to get away with it.

Someone a while back wanted a picture from the seat....I would really like it a touch lower for less headlight reflection but then it leaves a huge gap...

Seems like some people were finding these at a much lower price ($1000?) than the currently displayed $1299 on Ironman's site.

Did anyone get this bumper recently at a good price?

I’m curious if anyone has bought the Slee fog light/turn signal bracket made for the ARB bumper and installed it in the Ironman bumper?

i got the bumper from Ironman4x4 for $999 and free shipping. It wasn’t in stock for about 2 months. Not a big deal though... I have it now, installed and it fits beautifully.

Cool. Care to post a picture of the bumper on your truck? I am pretty sure I'm going with this Ironman but I'm still kind of on the fence.

When did you buy it? Was the $999 part of an advertised sale?

I purchased it in June of this year and received it a few weeks ago. It was an advertised sale price of $999. I believe the price now is $1299, but it includes offroad lights.

Here’s an install video and review I made last week. Have a buddy help you align it. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for making the video and sharing it with us! I was pretty set on Dissent steel bumper but your video convinced me to go with Ironman. Best of all, its only $974.25 today.
I updated my now sold LX headlights after I watched your video too. Thanks again man. Appreciate it!

Glad I was able to help. Don’t get me wrong... Dissent has one of the nicest front and rear bumpers out. I just couldn’t pass up the Ironman price.

They do and I have their rear bumper. Their quality is outstanding but almost double the price with hoops, powder coat, shipping, LED's, etc.

Just an FYI for anyone looking at the Ironman 4x4 bumper, I just spoke with a technical support person who confirmed that the bumper for the 100 series has only undergone a name change over the years. It used to be called the Deluxe Commercial Bumper and is now called the Classic Off-Road Bumper. No design changes were made to it and thus LX470 owners will have that hood/grille clearance issue to address (Ex., with fabricated spacers, etc.) whereas Land Cruiser owners can enjoy complete bolt-on and go installation as confirmed by the rep. +1 for me and my 2004 Land Cruiser ;)

I never had any issues installing this bumper on my 98 LX last year. Clearance is close, but never ran into any fitment issues due to the integrated grille of the LX.
