They're pretty nice, aren't they? I think it's the best secret out there in manufactured bumpers. And the packaged fogs are great too.

Your front gap looks a little tight. Have you put it on an RTI or cross slope to see how much body/frame flex you're getting?

Not yet. Notice there's nothing in the winch fairlead hole. :)

The winch is sitting here in my office. I dropped the truck back off at the frame shop for a little final tweaking - the bumper was about 1/4" offset horizontally overall, meaning the frame was about 1/4" off at the front horns where it mounts. They're taking care of that, and when I get it back I'll R&R the bumper (again) to mount the winch. On the "final" fitting, I'll plan to leave a finger gap on the fenders. It's actually close to finger gap now, and almost touches the upper valence that's under the grille in the center of the bumper.

This is the only one of the manufactured bumpers I'd consider, and I'm really not sure why this one appeals to me more than the other big-name options...

Maybe a silly question, but why does it come with a switch for the lights if they are all tapped into existing circuits? Aren't the blinkers tied to the blinkers, white LEDs to the DRLs, and fogs to the switch on the lighting arm? I don't see where that switch comes into play...

It comes with a switch, relay, and harness for the fogs. It is designed to stand alone rather than tie into the existing fog circuit. I'd rather use the switch on the stalk for those and save the panel switch for additional lights.

bamachem,

Thanks for the update and the additional photos on an LX. (Darn nice looking rig.) CappyKD had some photos as well, but I find your close-up particularly helpful. Thanks also for your comments.

Who has these on sale for $800 plus shipping?

Great price. Get one. I am still loving the bumper and after a trip to Moab, now I know that I need a rear bumper next.

Yep, and I called up ACC and asked if they'd price match and they did.

Mine came out of New Jersey. Shipping was $200 for me, and I'm on the coast in AL - 1000 miles or so. That was freight delivery to a commercial address.

For comparision, the ARB deluxe bar was $1,182 total with shipping from amazon.com

Plus fog lights plus wiring harness plus OEM switch.

Where do they drop ship from? Anyone please chime in. Thanks.

I emailed Cruiser Parts yesterday and got a reply very quickly. Ironman's website shows the US Distributor in Carson, California. I asked Cruiser Parts about freight to Utah and was quoted $140.00. (I gave them a friend's zip code as he has a forklift at his business.)
