I picked up a set of these for under $150 from Ironman 4x4. They're an Australian-based company with a US presence, a good thing because these things are HEAVY. The freight is free to US customers from Pennsylvania. Here's how they show them mounting on a Land Cruiser, with the vertical plate to the outside of the frame.

The paired captive nut device supplied is in case you don't find a captive nut in the holes already present in the frame. These also work with the Nissan GU Patrol, but the instructions say to swap sides. I ran into several easy to solve issues if you do swap sides that make this still an easy install. These were related to my having an ARB up front, but that's a pretty common situation

On the right side frame, the mount extension caused two issues. The first was that the back bolt went directly into the frame, while the front one was raised by the thickness of the ARB bumpers mounting extension. I used a pair of washers to make up the difference sandwiched in between the recovery point and the bottom of the frame.

I loosely installed the back bolt then and swung the recovery point around. The ARB extension bottom weld prevented the recovery point from the last little bit of swing needed to line up the front bolt. A few swats with a BFH solved most of this, then I used a Dremel on a last bit of slobbery weld. This let things line up to bolt down.

On the left side, the issue was my add-on Slee A/C dryer plate. The bolts weren't really long enough to bolt it n below the skid plat already attached to the bottom of the frame,. plus this would cause the recovery point to sit lower than necessary. The solution was to loosen the Slee plate enough so that it would gap open and let the recovery point slide in between the frame and the skid plate, then I
tightened up the bolts. Then I bolted it down and tightened up the rest of the bolts on the Slee plate.

So my recovery points ended up with the vertical part towards the inside of the frame ready to go to work.

Had some sunshine so got out of thr garage to rake an overall pic of this install. While they receivers points seem to hang down, they do a pretty good job of tucking up. I was considering moving my ready clevises down to them, but that made them hard to reach.

If you didn't know, those points on the bumper are NOT rated recovery points. For your clevises, ease of access is not at all the deciding factor between the unrated bumper and the purpose-built recovery points you just added.
