So several weeks later, I now have my ome lift installed! It actually wasn’t to bad on my truck, I was really lucky that the rust wasn’t to bad. Hard to tell, but I got a little bit of stink bug, gonna let it settle a bit and see. It is the ome light/medium.

Drives nice, I do have a little bit of a clunk when turning from the rear, gonna re check the ubolt torque and check the keeper bolts on the pins. Other than that, any other ideas for the clunk? Doesn’t happen all the time, just when turning over bumps. I’m having 33 inch tires installed as I type this. Really pretty happy over all

Think I found my clunk as well. I put that one in with some washers and it got better, but now I’m thinking all 4 of them need to be cut.

Fixed the above bolts, still getting a little bit of a clunk when I go over the sidewalk into my driveway. Re-torqued my ubolts as well.

Maybe I just missed it, but what brand and width of the new 33’s? Sharp looking 60!
Thanks! I went with the ubiquitous bfgoodrich KO2s. They honestly weren’t my first choice but easy to find in the size I got which is a 33 x10.5 r15.

As a drive through tons of snow melt today it got me thinking about inner fender liners. I remember seeing on here a place to buy them but can’t find the thread now. Anybody have that info? TIA

These?

Yesss thanks @Skeet

the OME springs have a bushing in the eyelets. they sometimes starts to slide with the swaying motion of the truck and can cause the spring clunk you’re describing. i ended up dropping my spring and tack welding it in place. my clunk is gone. bit of pain to do but i’m happy i did it

That little clunk reminds me that I'm driving a classic steel icon. Beats the sound rattling CV's, worn torsion A-arms.

Yeah it’s really not bad. Gonna ride with it a bit and see how it goes. Overall loving the ride. So far no real complaints about drive ability with 33’s the h55f and stock gears, even at my elevation.

Tired of working under the truck for a bit so my next project is gonna be the new seatbelts.
