Mike, Welcome to the club. Mike was my co-pilot a few weeks ago when we went to Crown King.

Homey Here!

Hey guys, I just got a 80 series this past weekend and today I had it at Sierra Expeditions where I met Will. I'm excited to be here in Arizona and start wheeling asap. Once everything is sorted out with my rig I plan on coming to the Sonic meet ups on the 3rd Fridays.

Anyway, I didn't read what I was suppose to write, if anything, at the beginning of this thread but I'll be around so those who want to will get to know me soon...

Welcome. If your truck is not in the shop think about coming out to the weekend run. We are going to Box Canyon it should be a very scenic day, stock ride height friendly.

My name is Pete. I am the new owner of a 93 series 80. Previous owners had installed a Warn winch and ARB lockers. The truck is extremely clean. Doesn't look like it ever had any hard off road use. Maybe that's because the LC is such a tough, capable 4 wheeler.
I haven't done any wheeling in Arizona, so I will need help in learning. My previous 4wd experience was plowing snow in Michigan.
I live in Fountain Hills and met Matt whose family owns a couple of LCs. He told me how to find this group.
I'm looking forward to meeting members and going for a few rides.

Hello all, moved here last year from okinawa. Have had my '99 cruiser for quite a few years. I am in the Tucson area and have been driving the Avra valley area a lot lately. If anyone has some free time or is interested pm me.
p.s. Also looking for a good shop for some work done

Hey, LongDuck checking in...

Posted a few notes about CSC monthly runs, and have been running around the boards reading a lot of stuff. Finally saw the sticky and thought I'd drop in here to introduce myself.

Arizona native, ASU grad, and live in North Phoenix. Have been a member of car enthusiast clubs (Mazda Rotary) in the past, and find that I like the drive experience a lot more than the sit-around-and-talk experience of being in a club, but also enjoy overnight camping for that aspect. Also a shooter, and growing up in the desert, got used to having fun in the heat.

I've already met a few of the CSC guys at last month's meeting, and flew right seat for a few of the trail runs.

Just bought a '96 FJ80 from a forum member here (you all know him), and will be driving my own 'cruiser from now on and learning about how to drive offroad safely.

Thank you for not pissing on my tires...

Wass happenin Donger?

Welcome!
Also a shooter,

I hope you pickup after yourself :hillbilly: or you could have the whole club pissing on your tires.

Pre-Introduction

Hello folks, I posted on this forum a few months back about possibly transferring out from SoCal. Well as of Mar 28th I'll be on my way and start to work on Mar30th in Mesa.

Anyway on to the introductions, My name is Scott, my Land Cruiser is a 97 FZJ80 with a few mods. (More info in the sig line). I'm excited about this move, for one getting into an affordable housing market. And two, other than the heat... I think the Arizona desert and mountains are beautiful!

My wife and youngest son will be staying behind in SoCal so he can finish the school year here and will move out sometime this summer.

Can wait to get out there and see more of beautiful AZ desert! And get to meet the club.

Thanks,
ScottyDog

Howdy,

Name is Daniyel, I moved back to Phoenix not too long ago; previously lived here for 23 yrs and did a fair amount of off roading ^_^. Very interested getting together with folks. My truck needs a bit of work before it's trail ready, but looking forward to the next meeting.

As my sig lists, I have a 1985 BJ73 RHD in decent shape but that will change. I had a 1979 FJ40 in another life and a long string of toyotas. I also have a good amount of fabrication equipment which I can help out with down the road.

Picked up a couple of the spiffy shirts today at camelback toyota, will be good to show it off. Anyways, it seems I found the right group to kick up dust with.

Thanks Murf... I added some pics of my 80 in my Intro... Thanks I can't wait! Unfortunately I'm leaving my 80 here in SoCal until I find a house and move the family out... Hopefully within the next few months!

Hi Scottydog and Sumitso - welcome!

A good place to meet other Cruiserheads is the monthly Copper State Cruisers meeting. https://forum.ih8mud.com/az-copper-...cruiser-cruise-thread-check-here-details.html

Sumitso, You dont even have to drive your Cruiser there but it would be nice to see a BJ73 RHD when its ready.

Are you guys able to post up a picture of your rigs?

Yeah, I know.. but priority is going to be finding a house.. I have ADD or maybe you could call it procrastination.... and I'll get to distracted if my 80 is with me! Especially since the wife isn't going to be with me!!:hillbilly:

Hey guys,

My name is Anthony, I met a few of you at the last meet. Normally I work as Chuy's navigator but I now have my own Cruiser and in time will create a personalized one of a kind rig like most of you.
