For the past year or so my '06 LX would randomly discharge the battery. I had the battery checked multiple times and it always tested good. Sometimes it did it after sitting for a few days, sometimes had only sat a day or two.
Fast forward to late fall and I had a crank, no start while on vacation. Let it sit 10 minutes and it started right up. Didn't help me relax. A week or so later it happened again. I went inside, did some research on mud for 15 minutes, went back out and it started right up so I was unable to troubleshoot. FINALLY about 3 weeks later it did it again! I've never been so happy that my car wouldn't start!
This time I popped the hood, tapped the main relay a few times, got back in and it started right up.
I put a new main relay in and it hasn't happened since. For my '06 the part number was 85915-30050
I haven't had the battery drain since then either leading me to think that sometimes the relay was sticking on after I shut the truck off and sometimes it was sticking off when going to start the truck.
Hopefully this helps someone someday.
