I finally got a reply from a guy in germany about and intercooler. It was a little too steep in cost for my liking bu I thought I would post his message and info so if anyone else w3anted one you could contact him yourself. It works out to about 2600 can before shipping. I have looked at getting my own custom made and all the associated fittings and could not get even close to 2600 can so the value was not there. I understand he is trying to make a buck and he was super helpful also. hopefully I can get to his shop when I am in germany so I can maybe see the kit and get some more info from him. Here is his e-mail reply.

now I have all information collected (all prices are intended for export, no 16% VAT added). If you vehicle is with AirCondition the kit will be 1620,- EUR. If you have no A/C the kit will be 1310,* EUR. Transportation will be charged extra.

Yes a little too steep for me. New custom intercooler about 1000 and the plumbing maybe 500 at best. Where does the other 1100 come in. A little too much profit margine for me. Looks like custom fabb. Jzilla has done it on his 60 but has no ac. I am going to try and get together with him to look at his set up in the future but have not time as getting close to going abroad.

I am going to work with a local intercooler shop and if they can make one for my BJ74 (has AC) then I am going to make it into a kit for anyone with 7x with or without AC.

Same thing for me on the hj61. I really want to put an intercooler on so it looks like I am going to have to do all as a kit is just too much$$$$$

 

[HZJ60 Guy]

There are thousands of ford/chebby/dodge intercoolers out there. When banks and others swap out their high po intercoolers the stock ones get tosssed. Take one of those aluminum jobs and cut it down and re weld it!

That's what Im going to do for my HZJ60.
