Ok, straight from the dumbass files:
Cleaning EGR & modulator lines, stuck a cheap paper clip into this port - and Dammm I think a piece broke off inside this small port (driver's side, intake manifold).
Tried to find another paper clip like it to determine if size matched and if truly broke but all I could find were the good ones (why didn't I find them to begin with).
Don't know if it broke a piece inside the port, don't want to fire it up for fear there's a broken piece fell inside.
What are options?

Turn the car over and shake the piece out.

Ok, that was fun, but seriously..... That runner goes to the center of the intake and dumps a few inches inside of the throttle body. If I recallo, it has a sharp 90 degrees at that point.

You could easily pull the throttle body put an air line in that hole and blow hopefully clearing it out. Or put a vaccuum on the hole and see if it pulls it out. The only issue I see is that mine was so full of gunk that it took quite a bit to clean out. My point is that your clip could easily be stuck in gunk.

What's interesting is that the broken clip didn't come out when I first applied vacuum suction at the top - only when I followed @NLXTACY instructions and THEN applied suction at top WHILE holding finger over tube at bottom did that piece come out.
Thanks all!

No it's not THAT bad

IF you have 2' long extensions, and plenty of beer for your friend to drink and hold the clamshell for you.

Voorland80, now that you've recovered from this ordeal, I'll bet you think twice before you stick your clip in any dark holes again.
