I pulled the rear main cap off so I can add rear seal and to also check bearing and crank surface. The bearing is pretty firmly attached. Is there a trick to get it off? I would have thought it would have stayed on the cap like on the rod caps, but it is stuck on the crank. I don't want to bugger anything up, but thought maybe a very light tap on the bearing might loosen it. Any suggestions? Thanks....

Unless there's a reason, I wouldn't mess with the bearing.
