I don't know guys.... this bothers me. If you are indeed getting threats over posting this from others that frequent this forum I think we have a problem. It might be appropriate to speak off line with one of the moderators and out the guy/guys doing this to them. I don't think we need dipwads making threats over something like this on our forum at all. It IS just a truck (or 2) and lots of us that cruise the GSA auctions for dana 60 stuff already knew about them.
Was the OP wise or unwise to post his find on an open forum? Well, that kind of depends on his willingness and ability to outbid others on the items. His call - not ours. Just my $.02

Running, driving 2.5-ton trucks can be found without a difficult search over here....For significantly less than what one had to shell out for a 70 series pickup in that auction.
Sure it is "more truck" but what the hell are you going to do with it, especially on your island?
Do they even allow you subjects over there to own that type of thing? After all, it is an evil military vehicle; who knows what kind of trouble one could cause with something like that available to the masses.....
You guys cannot even be trusted to drink on trains any longer.
If anyone pays even close to one-fifth of the price of that 70 series for that Kaiser, they should really look into a rehab program....
