Do all grenadiers have the same suspension set up or do they have certain models with more offroad focused set ups? From the comparison videos I've seen, articulation isn't that great for being a solid axle truck, specially in the front.
Basically. If you add on winch, etc., they match springs to match the additional weight. There is not a sway bar disconnect, but I am sure an aftermarket option is or will be available. The Wrangler also has poor articulation until you disconnect the sway bar, then the articulation tops the charts.

in terms of driving impressions, sits higher than the 200 and feels heavier. Steering taking some getting used to, but ok. On the highway feels like less body roll than my 200 and suspension a bit stiffer. Cabin noise comparable to 200 (nice and quiet). I got the duellers instead of the KO2s.
I get mine next week. I really enjoyed driving it on the test drive. It will look good with the 200.
The steering didn't bother me at all. I was on surface streets and did about 85mph on the interstate. The only time I noticed that it does not self-center was as soon as I pulled out of the parking lot. After that it did not feel odd.
I've seen a couple of these in person now from the outside and on the road. I think they look good. I again am glad someone is stepping into this vacuum and hope they fill out their dealer network to develop a solid customer base.

I'm really happy with it so far. It has a very commanding feel on the road, surefooted and solid. No rattles. Steering took getting used to, but I'm now 280 miles in and no longer an issue. Doors are heavy like a vault. I expect to get 17-18mpg in regular mixed driving. Got 15mpg with my first tank on winter blend in the NE. My LC gets 13mpg today with 175k miles on it. I love the way it looks. G wagons look plain Jane to me now and look oddly proportioned especially next to the Grenadier.
In terms of some things I would change if I had a magic wand:
ADAS (advanced driver assist system) comes loaded on the vehicle. Lane departure is fine, but speed overage indication is quite annoying. Have to turn off every time I start a new drive but a software fix from the factory is on the way. Supposedly has some kind of drowsy driver detection, but not sure how it works.
Memory seats. I wish I had them. These seats are super comfortable Recaro's but they are manually adjusted.
Some kind of retractable shade for the Safari windows would have been nice. The tint is nice and dark and so far doesn't bother me, but I can see it bothering some. Would be nice to have an option especially in the summer perhaps. But the headroom is awesome (high ceiling) and it just feels much more open and airy than the LC. Safari windows add to that feel.
Second row adjustable backrest would have been nice. But not too many vehicles have them. I'm just comparing to the LC.
Engine is a bit noisier than the LC. I can hear/feel it at a red light, and I think there might be some highway exhaust drone at 65-70mph. Monitoring that. Hoping it will dissipate as the engine breaks in. Never had this issue in the LC obviously.
