What an absolute noob
Doesn’t seem that bad considering the defender and G wagon both look very goodThe Grenadier from the outside looks to me to be a cross between Defender 110 (not new ones) and a Mercedes G wagon.

There is a sponsorship/connection
Mercedes F1 is sponsored by INEOS
Mine lands in the Brunswick GA port 11/6.I confirmed this week that my Grenadier is on a vessel scheduled to arrive in Baltimore on 11/16. So excited.
Mine too.Mine lands in the Brunswick GA port 11/6.
Mine has been at the dealer for over 2 weeks waiting on the accessories to arrive and be installed. I pretty much ordered everything except for the rear winch. Mine is Sela Green as well, but with matching roof
I agree, not pretty. At least I'm familiar with it, having owned a 5-series and Z4 in the past. That bmw gear selector seems odd sticking out of a H1 console..
definitely what my eye was drawn to as well and looks out of place for sure. I hope this platform performs well overall as I appreciate what they're trying to do.That bmw gear selector seems odd sticking out of a H1 console..
Toyota uses it in one of "their" cars too..definitely what my eye was drawn to as well and looks out of place for sure. I hope this platform performs well overall as I appreciate what they're trying to do.
Based on what the Ineos reps told me, annual sales in the U.S. will be small. Substantially less than 200 platform sales when new. Still think you won't see many in the wild. They’re all over my neck of the woods. Dealership looks like they have huge inventory so Kudos to Ineos for their manufacturing ramp up. Or does that mean low demand?
Either way, no thanks. These un-tested insta-bro mobiles are far too popular.
Yeah that’s all fine. Their R&D budget is nowhere near what the majors are which was my original, albeit poorly communicated point. For the most part, all of the trucks sitting on lots are preorders waiting on accessories to arrive and be installed.
As for being untested, this is the second model year, but the first for North America. They had test vehicles all around the world for two years before that.
The price of the Grenadier and the limited numbers to be sold prevent it from being a Bro Mobile by any generally agreed upon definition of the term. Vehicles that can definitely be Bro Mobiles are Jeeps, Tacomas, really any rig with too much lift, too large of a tire and too many accessories. The Grenadier is mostly going to be purchased by the same individuals that led to the term Chelsea Tractor for the Land Rover Defender. These buyers are definitely not "Bros". There are a multitude of pejoratives to describe each group but they are not the same cohort. They’re all over my neck of the woods.
