I spent some time this past weekend re-living the fun of Moab and Breckenridge and finished going through photos from our 3500-mile road trip from Moab > Ouray > Breck > Black Hills / Badlands > Teddy Roosevelt NP > Glacier NP > Palouse, WA > back to San Jose.

Heehee... Thanks for cuttin me some slack with the spotter trouble. :) Next time...we'll keep spotters in the mudder family! Paging Atwalz...TexAZ...TonyP...indycole...etgernectar...etc!

Cole, these photos are fantastic!

Love @TexAZ truck in these pics. That color just pops!

Ya, that dark red (whatever its called) does look pretty sweet! Mark from Arizona had one, too, at Breck...and it was nice.

There must be a filter or Photoshop. It looks like candy.

And yes, my desktop pictures have changed about 4 times today.

Amazing pics.
Loving it

I love the the red color, too -- with or without some photo processing. I shoot in Fuji Raw so all photos require processing (if you've never seen raw files they're flat/dull as hell... no one uses them straight out of the camera).

For reference, here's the same photo that I just had the camera convert to JPG instead of Lightroom. Truck is still purdy... :)

An additional note: I also shot with a circular polarizer for much of the trip which cuts through the glare of the sun and brings out the natural colors.

I did all those trails in 1999. Now I want to do them again. Thanks guys, maybe next year.

Great photos!

Almost like being there... great shots!
