Any intel on when registration will open up? I thought I saw a post saying something about it but can’t find it. We site just says “early 2025”.

I’ve got a work trip coming up and will be out of the country and am afraid I’ll miss the or not see the email in time.

Bump. Anyone?

Edit: Web site has been updated. Registration opens Feb 1.

Registration opens this Saturday at 10:00 MST. HOME - Cruise Moab - https://www.cruisemoab.com/

They have a randomised registration process to help give everyone a shot fair shot at getting in. Does anyone know about how many total rigs they limit registration to?

I was lucky enough to get registered! Anyone else?

No such luck for me. Not sure I’d have the time off this year anyway, but still disappointing. I’m going to try and hit Moab in early June when school lets out to make up for it, though, so anyone who can’t make CM in April but might want to get into trouble in June, PM me

I got in as well. We will be leaving the Friday before and beginning our trek across the country. If you see this rig say hello.

I'll be pulling out of NJ Fri or Saturday, with no real agenda aside from moab Wed. Safe travels.
This will be our 5th trip to Cruise Moab, but only the 2nd with the LX. We've found avoiding I-70 works best for us. It only adds about a 100 miles or so to go to Gallup and shoot up. Also, CM is just the launching pad for another week or so of southwest adventuring.

I've done LCDC the past 7 years, so the trip out i try to make worth it, meandering across the country looking for cool things. What's the camping weather like that time of year? This is my first CM so I'm not sure what I'm looking at in that sense. TIA

Last year was pleasant, a little cold at night. It is possible at that time of year to be far colder. The diesel heater was clutch in the RTT.

Oh interesting. I could be in that area around that time.
Visitng with some friends a buddy who moved tothe US a few years ago in Little Rock around Easter and we will take then his f***ed up 100 series his little brother left there (at least we don’t have to take his Tacoma he normally drives since he is the preowner of my 200 so I know how he treats his Toyos…) and do a big circle from there through Colorado, Utha and Arizona, dropping of one guy in Vegas and then back through New Mexico and Texas back to Little Rock.

Sadly no time for excessive camping or hitting too much offroad q_q

Hehe but then you need let it ship to my place first so probably sending it with DHL to the US isn’t that much more from Saudi Srabia wich is probably the next place to get it (since Toyota Gibraltar don’t sell stuff to mainland Europe….)

But would be a funny looking hand luggage.

From reading the website associated with this event, it seems like a stock 200 can do trails rated 4 and below. Does that track with anyone’s experience?

For the most part yes. Albeit good potential for some rear bumper plastic scuffs on the corners. But careful tire placement and good driving will save you from most of that drama.
