i have a torn CV boot and am not set up in my garage to do it myself. Anyone have a good Indy shop in Downtown/City Park area of Denver?

No help if you need to be downtown, but Slee is over in Golden and they're about as recommended as they come.

Yep, Slee is great, but a PITA for me to get my car out there for pretty routine repairs.

Worth the PITA to use Slee. Either that or go to Dealer on South Broadway.

Their is Colorado Toyota Specialists in Conifer, they do a lot of cruiser work-been around for a long time, not a fancy shiny place like Slee, but has the ability to do all the same stuff. Its a little old shop, but they have a lot of tooling and are pretty high up on the scale of cruiser knowledge. Closer to you their is a shop near alameda and santa fe. Kinda hard to see but you access it off of santa fe. I can't remember the name, I think it is called the Toy Shop, i went wheeling with the owner years ago, I think his name is Greg. I don't know much about what kind of work he does anymore. Also Toyexus does good general maintenance on toyota's. They are at i25 and broadway which isn't too far from you. Owners name is Paul, he is a cool guy and very honest. Toyexus is probably your best route I can recommend thats close to you for basic stuff, its a dirty shop and not fancy, but very reasonable.

I took my 80 to Comprehensive Car Care a few times for routine stuff. Really nice guys who seem to love LC's. 701 E Evans, 303-722-0888. I know they see quite a few LC's as I see them in the parking lot quite often.

The few Toyota indies in the metro area itself seem to charge the same or more than the dealers around here do. Give Stevenson Toyota on Havana a call and see what they say. They came in cheaper on a couple of jobs for us compared to Toy Doctor, Toy Care and Toylexus.

I stopped by Toyexus today on my way in to work and talked with them for a while. Seem like good knowledgeable guys and their pricing seems incredibly reasonable. I'm going to replace both CV axles, flush the brake fluid and check the battery. I'll report to the group on my experience. Thanks for all the input.
