Welcome!! That's one good looking rig you got and I love the look of the front bumper.

Naturally, he has a Turbo Diesel 1HD-FTE.

Yea you are right, I got turbo diesel naturally and I set up the safari intercooler.

Hey, do you guys get the full time 4WD or part time? Becuase my version is the part time?

Man I really like the clean look of those flares and brush guard together. Any contact info on either would be much appreciated.

Hi, I'd like to give the information about the fender flares, but it's in Indonesia. I can send them to US, but the cost would be expensive. I bought it for like $400. I also inform that this flare is also a little bit heavy.

Actually, I hardly take a picture when we are in the jungle, but I promise, I'll take some guys..

Great looking rig! The front safari guard it sharp, wish we had the turbo diesel here, or more to the point, wish i had it.

Welcome!!!!!

Hi,

Thanx for your compliment..
I wish i could drive my 80 on the baverly centre.lol
Actually I own a 60 as well, I'll take a picture of it later. ok?
And also the close up of my from bumper. People think that its made of plastic, but actually it is steel.

Welcome :flipoff2: That is a good looking capable rig to tackle the trail in the jungle of Indonesia. Those fender flares are huge and totally match the wide tires on rims with beadblock. It is great to see a rig with front and rear winch. Do you have both front and rear locking differentials too?

With the part-time 4wd you have Manual locking hubs in the front. There are 2 HDJ80 LHD for sale in my country (one part time the other full time) and im trying to choose among both.

are the flares bigger/wider than the oem ones, they look the same, and yes some info on the brand of the flares and approx cost would be awsome

matt

welcome to the forum!! I really like all the work you have put into your 80!! I am curious if you know the name or brand of the manufacturer who makes those fender flares. They look really sharp! I am interested in getting a set.
Cheers!!

Flares?

Really like the rig, quite the set up with the front and rear winch, and also some info on those flares would be great.

Hi, here's some information of those flares..I make it with my friend who is an offroad modificator in Indonesia. It cost like $400 without the shipping cost. But, its included the packing. I'll find out about the shipping cost if you guys are interested.

The size itself is wider by 1 or 2 cm from the OEM flare. but, if you guys want to be the same with the OEM, it could be arranged.

And also, those bolt are not set up into the body, it's just glued into the flares. so you dont have to make a hole in the body for those bolt.

Here's some close up front bumper pics:

Very nice rig! 80s are everywhere it seems. As far as the Beverly Center is concerned, I'm afraid 80s won't match the bling all around that neighborhood, especially if it's lifted, as the ceiling of the Center parking lot is very low (freaked me out last time I tried). Best way, albeit a bit brutal, to own a 80 cabriolet.

Welcome .. this bumper looks sweet ! m aybe not my personal taste but looks good ..

I thought you have the 1HD-T or 1HD-FT ( 24V ) with the aftermarket Safari Intercooler kit .. how much you are boosting ?
