Couple weeks ago I ordered a JDM aux fan and a fuel pump relay as a test of how easy/not it was going to be dealing with Impex.

About a week passed an then I got a message that the aux fan was canceled "impossible to order." Now I'm left with a web page that lets me neither confirm or deny the rest of the order. Solid :)

I also noticed in another thread going on here currently regarding steering gearboxes, that Impex had canceled an order for on of those as well.

Just wondering if anyone else is having issues...

I'm also curious if anyone received their recent orders from IMPEX (from the last couple of months). I was just planning on ordering a spare steering box, I might still try it but looks like it's a waste of time.

I was looking at their site yesterday and at the top it states they are having shipping delays to customers. I wonder if they are having issues getting stuff to fulfill inventory due to the shipping issues as a whole.

I received an order on June 27th that was ordered on June 2nd. I have 4 outstanding recent orders from a few weeks back, including the 105 steering box.

Received a notice that my steering box was “suspended” and asked for a confirmation. No clue what that means….

Read the message a bit more, it will either give you a delayed delivery date, or a price increase, or the item may not be available.

In the instance of the former two, you can accept or decline to proceed. Decline gets you a credit.

I got the same message on 7-23-24. Option to cancel or continue as shipping delayed till mid-August. I elected to be patient.

Weird. Looks like the box is delayed until mid-Aug, now. Pitman arm just says suspended.

Since there aren’t any other reasonable options for a new box and mine in only weeping, I too elected to be patient.

I had to confirm my steering box order for delayed shipping - it is still showing 7/30 but that’s sounding questionable at this point. I’ve had crappy steering for a long time so not too worried about a couple of weeks.

I ordered a 80 series steering gear box back in about May. I received it in June, they definitely had a delay in sourcing the part but it was a reasonable delay, it was communicated in a very concise way through the messages and as mentioned I had to confirm the delay was approved. Also to note, I had some other parts ordered with the box and they packaged it all together with little protection on the outside or inside. If I were to order another very heavy part through Impex I'd request/recommend they packaged it better given the weight in particular. Fortunately FedEx covered the damaged hub face. Impex in my experience does not package nearly as well as Partsouq. They cut corners in packaging.

I do know that PartsOuq has always been reliable and their packaging is bomb proof.

Lowest price. I posted a thread about my leaky steering box and they were identified as the lowest cost supplier.
