a blue slip is a slip you have to get to change your registration to a new owner,in Queensland[oz]we call it a roadworthy certificate, and a ripped seat wont pass, basically it is an inspection to make sure the vehicle is in good condition on the road, some states in oz want it done every year,in QLD only when you change ownership

Thanxs Aussie so I believe it was you that told me to go to find a part I did the cant help me or so says the email reply I think Ill call them its a bit more formal

Oh yeah maybe you guys can shed some light on the subject that since my cruiser has a full chassis does that mean I can drop a smallie (350 or ever my 383 stroker) in to it with minimum problems from RTA

Awesome 45 and price as well. Spent some days around Willits myself while at HSU but still dreaming to get to that side of the world. I would think you could drop the 350 in just fine w/ the usual requirements for a bellhousing adapter and new motor mounts and various other connections. Keep us posted for sure and welcome to MUD.

sweet lil 510 too

Its not that it cant be done I know it can Ive got friends that do it all the time my question is aimed at Aussie since over here weve got a lot of requirement to be regasterable

That is the best color of blue I have ever seen. nice rig. Please help a fellow cruiser from Northern California and find out the color. It is great. I have a 72 which I am thinking of painting nebula green.

That looks like a blue that was used on 55 Chevys. I think is was called Nassau Blue or Harbor Blue. Very close.

awesome cruiser for a awesome price...flip that bezel though:flipoff2:

you need to check with RTA,im in Queensland and it is a bit different here, you will have no problem down there, cant help with a seat for you, have fun with it as it looks quite good your rig,use what you have

Googled those, Nassau seems all ways to be metallic and lighter, Harbour Blue looks right though, nice color, need to make a note of that one, thanks.

Holden Power,

Just came back to the thread to look at the tray and noticed the remote brake booster, any idea what that is from?

This is how I bought it have no idea if it was orig or aftermarket mayby you can shed some light on the subject for me. Did the 70 model 45 come with power brakes? Took it out for a little drive for the first time man do I like it. Its better than an any of the Cheeps (I never had heeps cause I imediatly put chevys in um but there still heeps) or heeps or even some of my thirteen letter s*** spreaders (IHC) still love my scout IIs though

After looking at it I think its acting like a second master cyl. I push fluid from the main one it pushes on the one in the booster that has const vac assisting in the application of the brakes I think
