Truck needs:
If I do go with a lift, is there a good "mild" kit that would net me ~1.5"?
The shop is recommending either Eibach + SPC's or Ironman Stage 2 — both good choices from my research that will net ~2-2.5". However, I don't need that much lift; what kit would keep me in a range that might not require UCA's?
Congrats on the GX purchase! I was able to put a really nice suspension upgrade including UCA’s together for just over 1k by getting the Eibach Pro Truck lift kit and some Freedom Offroad UCA’s. The truck handles great and you can fit 33” tires even on the lowest setting if you do the bumper guard mod. Since you’re not getting tires that big, you should have no problem. I’d recommend this kit because it seems to be the most cost effective while being very high quality. The adjustable SPC stuff is great but I really don’t see the benefit above the static Freedom Offroad units unless you go over 4” of lift.
- CV's
- Swaybar Links (Front and Rear)
- Front Lower Control Arm bushings
- Rear Lower Control Arms
- Shocks F/R
- Airbags are shot (going to coils)
