sucks. Some companies down there are hard to deal withI ask for an official invoice...... Been weeks now. I guess they don't want USD
Hm I'm not sure. Diesels seem to run cooler and I haven't really had issues with heat tbh. I wonder if anyone has done any testing with a hood scoop to see if that can help reduce temps. Maybe if you mounted a fan underneath instead of an intercooler?Well the louvers that was cut into my son's LX- not sure if it helped with heat soaked engine bay. I already have the hood risers but I don't have a sensor to measure the temp inside the engine.
The ambient temp was above 101 last week and over the mountain passes (7k to 11k) elevation my ECT peaked at 200° and my IAT at 145°. I could imagine how hot the engine bay was......i def need a stainless dorkel to bring tha IAT down and the Aussie 79 hood would prob help a lot more
Have you thought of adding a temp sensor inside the engine bay? Where should it be placed? I'm thinking of installing one to my 93 Turbo.
