Id prbably drive a TD hilux or a diesel 70 series so i could still come to mud and stir up the sepos about what us aussies get in terms of "good toyotas" :D:beer:

(Unimog)
..this would be sweet. it seriously gets the same fuel economy as my 62 but has a way longer range!! I saw one in Whitehorse on my way to Alaska a year ago. awsome rig!!..

I also saw a similar looking truck in Whitehorse two summers ago, though it seemed even bigger. Didn't it have a map on the side of the all places it has been too worldwide? Should have taken a photo, but did get a chance to talk with the owners briefly.

Edit: 1st through 3rd gen 4runners are nice.

Lots of great memories banging around dusty roads in Nebraska with my Grandpa and his old Willys Wagon.

I like cruisers but if they aren't an option...

1 ton blazer with a 4bt cummins swap, on 37's with detroits in both ends,

had a 91 blazer on 35's and other than the 10 bolts (that sucked) and the 700r4 it was a great rig for almost 300k miles..

other choice would be a 91-93 dodge with a cummins, they live forever but ride s$#%... no matter what you do with the springs...

new 70 - or anything similar if the Toyota Cockfags would ever do something for the U.S. consumers/loyalists.

My 60 was my first car, but before I found it I looked at everything from ford ranger's to Datsun 510's. I even almost jumped on a really nice Wagoneer like the one on the previous page. In the end, I was stuck with a reeeeaalllyy tough decision that has ended up shaping my goals over the last three years. It almost came down to a coin toss between my Cruiser and a pristine, low miles, factory supercharged, AW11 MR2.

It was almost identical to this one:

I would go for an FJ55 (Iron Pig). I think it is a lot like the FJ60 but in an even more utilitarian skin.
Yeah the Fj55 has an unusual appeal to them hey, i really like what some people do with them.

This is my '70 Blazer that I previously mentioned I would use.
