Weight lifting weight. But I don't know what the conversion from A13 to standard/metric is.

What?

Love learning about 4x4 history. One of my favorite origin stories I heard at EJS back in the early 2000s. Pat Grimillion told me about the first Atlas prototype transfer case he tested. The "peanut" was what they called it due to the shape.

I've got a few of them around the shop :D

I wheeled with Pat quite a few times. Last time was probably 24hrs on the Hammer in the late 90s. After that, a few rock crawling events. Some of us are old enough to qualify as history.

Roberts was the inventor of what is now the ARB air locker. I still have one original Roberts air locker. I believe ARB bought the rights in the mid 90s

Well I found another old guy!
Yes, my daughter Becky still has an RD02 ARB ROBERTS AUSTRALIAN BUILT front locker in her 67/40.

I still have an RD02 purchased in 1987 in the front axle of Ruftoys. Never been out for servicing in 37 years, so I can’t confirm the Roberts boss is on mine. I do remember that it was a popular joke at the time that the first RD02s were made on a wood lathe!😝
