How long is your summer season there? Great pics, keep posting!

You can't "wheel" in the summer there. Offroading is illegal. Winter is your best bet for wheeling action.

WOW, thats a bummer....

We dont usually have trails per se , we travel on glaciers or we go to mountain huts if we are going on a weekend trip, in the winter time everything in the highlands is covered with snow and then it's usually just Gps tracks we need to follow, sometimes finding ways around obstacles like hills and such, we have a huge collection of gps tracks to various places that we use

last trip I made onto a glacier this last weekend there was so bad weather that visibility was zero, I didn't even look out of the windsheild just had my eyes on the gps following the track , at times I didn't even know I was moving and had to see it on the gps if I was moving at all , one time i was on the move or i tought so.. when i looked in the mirror and saw the car behind me stopped :D

Man you are a brave soul....I remember one time when I was driving in a bad rain storm over in Florida on vacation and was going literally 1-2mph then had to just stop in the middle of the freeway because you couldn't see anything.

I am about to take my first snow wheeling trip this January. Do you have like.... your top 5 or so tips for snow wheeling/camping??

Your pics look fantastic!

What am I seeing running from the flare to the wheel as seen in the picture below?

Looks like remote inflate/deflate lines to me.

Yes, he can deflate and inflate the tires from inside the truck, very good to have

you can just air down until you find the sweet spot or the perfect psi where the truck starts to float

Air in tire's is something we have to monitor very well, for example we start deflating the tires to around 3psi at about 500m over sea level or where need arises, and then work our way up a Glacier , when we climb up, the airpressure in the tires can rise alot, few psi's per 100m in elevation until the trucks stop floating so we constantly have to go out and measure the pressure and let more air out

then we also have to take care on the way down to not go too low pressure as pressure falls as we go down

With remote or incabin inflation deflation we can monitor it very well, thus protecting the tires better and also maybe get alittle bit further then the next guy

Im planning to build one in my truck

Went to Glacier today to retreive a truck we left there this weekend because of a broken transfer case

Love the pictures! Can we get a couple of the rear suspension so we can see how the Airbags sit and Panhard relocation?

Do you run air bags in the front too?

driving off road is illegal yes. No wheeling outside of the roads in the summer please! but some of the roads (and river crossings) are scary and you can visit some beautiful places even though you drive on the roads.
