You can't "wheel" in the summer there. Offroading is illegal. Winter is your best bet for wheeling action.
We dont usually have trails per se , we travel on glaciers or we go to mountain huts if we are going on a weekend trip, in the winter time everything in the highlands is covered with snow and then it's usually just Gps tracks we need to follow, sometimes finding ways around obstacles like hills and such, we have a huge collection of gps tracks to various places that we use
last trip I made onto a glacier this last weekend there was so bad weather that visibility was zero, I didn't even look out of the windsheild just had my eyes on the gps following the track , at times I didn't even know I was moving and had to see it on the gps if I was moving at all , one time i was on the move or i tought so.. when i looked in the mirror and saw the car behind me stopped![]()
